We established Tax inTuition as we saw a need among local accountants and tax advisers for practical training solutions.

Leanne Saunders

Director / Senior Trainer

BSc, MTax, DipFS, CTA

Leanne has over 30 years of experience in the tax profession. Prior to becoming a tax trainer, Leanne was a specialist tax consultant, providing advice to a diverse range of clients on a wide variety of tax issues. She commenced her career in the Big 4 environment in Sydney before moving to the Gold Coast, where she managed the tax consulting division of a large second-tier firm.

Leanne moved from consulting to tax training 13 years ago and has provided tax training to Big 4, mid-tier and small accounting practices, commercial accountants, and the Australian Taxation Office. Leanne is now based in Brisbane but loves ‘hitting the road’ to visit her clients.

Leanne has a highly enthusiastic approach to her work and can communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner. In her spare time Leanne loves walking, reading, doing jigsaws and spoiling her pets.

Nicole Rowan

Senior Technical Writer

Nicole Rowan is an Australian lawyer and an experienced tax trainer. She worked for a Melbourne suburban Accounting firm for 9 years prior to studying law. She also has a teaching degree and a strong interest in not-for-profit governance and law.

Nicole worked for the Australian Taxation Office as a lawyer, auditor and investigator, and for the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission on the harmonisation of charity laws across Australia.

Among her numerous super powers are the ability to create tax training materials in a logical and practical format. Whether writing or delivering training material, Nicole has the ability to explain complex tax law in an easy-to-understand way. 

Millie Saunders

Branch Manager

Millie has only recently joined the business but tends to get all of the attention.

Millie specialises in consumption-based taxation and fringe benefits.

Millie guards the office when mum is travelling for work and is an expert in sniffing out tax changes.

Michael Saunders

Admin Support

Michael assists in the business mainly for income distribution reasons, but his main role is taking direction from both Leanne and Millie.

Michael also does the books and follows up late payments. Having watched every episode of the Sopranos and Breaking Bad, he sees himself as the debt collector in the business.

In his spare time Michael plays pinball and works in financial planning.
